Property owners in the Willoughby-Eastlake School district will be pleased by a 5 year-forecast by the schools that shows a positive cash balance through 2019, with a 12 million dollar surplus in 2015 going down to 5 million by 2019. The plan is to not have to ask for a new levy until 2020.

Car Kills Pedestrian in Painesville
A 49 year-old man from Dayton was killed in Painesville Township Wednesday night when struck by a car while walking in Route 20 west of Narrows Road. It was just before midnight and police think the pedestrian was under the influence when he walked into the roadway.

Family Says Ohio Nurse Ebola Free
For the past week northern Ohio has been consumed with Ebola anxiety after Texas nurse and Akron native Amber Vinson was diagnosed with the deadly virus after flying home with an elevated temperature and then feeling ill after she arrived at her parent’s home in Tallmadge. Now, it appears Amber Vinson is Ebola-free.
Meth Lab Found in Trash
Ashtabula sanitation workers found a meth lab in a trash bin in the 53 hundred block of Main Avenue. They say anyone could have come by and put the meth making equipment in the trash. They found a similar meth lab in trash in June and August.
NBA GMs: LeBron will win MVP, Spurs will repeat

Lorain DE Berry commits to Ohio State

Twins do not hire Alomar
