Thaw already causing river problems in Eastlake
The early blast of winter and sudden thaw have caused trouble for people living along the Chagrin River in Eastlake. Ice has already formed on the river, and the warm up has pushed ice jams up the river. This has damaged docks at the Eastlake Marina. City officials keep watching water levels for possible flooding.
